glog Marturos 2025 Glog.

Hello everyone, welcome to my 2025 Glog.
2024 was a great year for peppers we grew many new varieties with great tasting pods.

2025 is looking good so far we just got the seeds planted & on the heating mats.
A little later than last season however with LEDs we needed to start the plants later.
Last season the plants were a little root bound by plant out..

Your SRS and Peppapeach Stripey look great! I've got PPS in the cue for next year. Let me know how you like it!

I've got Zaps starting to ripen right now, it's the first year I've grown them. Are your Zaps starting to blush as well? I can't remember when you planted out, but your season seems to be a solid 2-3 weeks ahead of mine.
Good Lord!

We had a problem getting the Zapotecs to pop, had to request new seed from BC. So they are a little late this season

JH Hale, however we bought it from Lowes, so who really knows LOL.

Three SRS plants were planted late last season & after a Hurricane & 2 frost they went on to produce for a month.
This season we have 4 plants & they are already loaded with pods.
As for the Peppa Peach Stripey I can't wait to try them, I'll let you know how they taste.

I've been waiting for this day (@SatanicFlatIron ) to remind you all.
Here is the pepper review you all have been waiting for.

The Mommy & Me Chilhuacle Rojo from ETSY
Taste profile: Thin tough skin with a lip burn.
No smell to speak of, & not what I ordered!!

Be careful where you get your seed from boys & girls 😃

But definitely a bummer, wasting half a year of time and resources waiting for unfulfilled promises
When you go hunting for peppers that are rare & unusual, there are many rabbit holes for you to travel through.
I was waiting for another well known seed vendor to get the C Rojos back in stock.
Wrote the guy twice & only got one snootie response, so I took a chance & ordered it from Mommie & me.
I even sent some seeds to @CaneDog & wasted his time as well.

disappointed bummer GIF
to say the least.

Hey there's so many plants out there doing really great. I'm good, so off to the races. 😃

😂 thank you!!
If they are not good to eat you could make a spicy vinegar with those green and red peppers and then strain it after a few days
You got pickled! (I hope that term sticks 😂)
I hope so too! It could easily replace the old "You got Pepper Joe'd!" 👍
