• Do you need help identifying a 🌶?
Is your plant suffering from an unknown issue? 🤧
Then ask in Identification and Diagnosis.

Maybe I can do this!

Such a good feeling seeing this my first year growing. I don't care if the plant drops it or not, just made me smile. 7 Pot Jonah btw. Sorry for the random gush  .

Yeah, I've had fun with this stage as well. My earliest plants are carrying fruit now (Trinidad Perfume, Lemon Drop and Early Jalapeño), and I noticed that the stem of the flower starts to thicken significantly in advance if it is going to carry a pod after the flower wilts.

This one fell off:

This one looked like that while the flower was still on:

If that is your first flower it will probably fall off, but you can have a bit of fun watching the size of the stems as more flowers show up :)

Are that size pictures considered too large here?

Mind the crappy cell phone pic but I have been gone for a week on vacation and came back to find this, even with temps between 98-108 the whole time I was gone. My first super hot pod from seed, and the winner is a...........................7 Pot Douglah :fireball: .

That's great! I live in Oklahoma too, and have been very pleased that I'm getting some very tiny buds from my Jamaican Hot Chocolate plant in this weather. It's my first time grow too, so if you're having success in this state, I may too!

a watched pot never boils...

i gave my friend some plants and he stares at all the flowers, takes pics and sends them to me... brags even... his choc scorp has 6 pods forming, and he came over to show me... we looked at my plant, and i have 16 pods forming... LOL... i don't ever look or anything at my plants... just let them do their thing...

good job on the pics though... looks great...

No bragging by any means, just surprised to see it in this crazy heat, been having tons of flower drop. For the sake of a better pic...
