Medicinal & Other Uses for Hot Peppers

Hello all,
For quite some time now...I have known that Cayenne pepper powder is a great natural blood thinner AND good for pest control on plants (indoor or out). Even read recently that scientists have been able to use Capsaicin to kill off cancer cells, without harming good cells!
Recently found this website, dedicated to just the various medical ususes for hot peppers:

So, I thought to make a thread for any and all uses for hot peppers other than to just eat or make food with.

Have a cold? Eat a pepper. It'll burn your sinuses clear for a little bit.

Not much of a 'medical' use, but I was drinking straight from the hot sauce bottle during my last cold. Gave a few minutes relief each swig.

It's good at cauterization.
I make a tea with a spoon full about once a day.
Can't hurt. Well. I suppose it would if you weren't use to it.

I'm going to assume there's another usage of the term I'm unfamiliar with, because rubbing peppers into an open wound would never have occurred to me unless I was creating a "Top ten ways to make somebody scream like a little girl" list.

If pepper strength keeps increasing at its current rate, it'll be a cheap alternative to mace.
