Hot peppers have gained my attention ever since I started following a healthy eating template from Renaissance Periodization.
My diet calls for four small handfuls of vegetables each meal(in addition to protein and fat), so I've been blowing through hot sauce like never before.
I picked out several different seed packets at the beginning of summer and started them outdoors which severely stunted them. Now that they have some shade and a bit cooler temps down here, they've started producing. I've been extremely interested in everything pepper and tomato this summer, and look forward to applying this acquired knowledge. It's exciting to find this trove of experience and education!
The seeds I started this summer are:
Habanero
Tequlia Sunrise
Poinsettia
Anaheim
Ancho
Long Slim Red Cayenne
Jalapeno
Hungarian Wax
and I bought a Ghost pepper plant from the hardware store
Knowing all the interesting varieties out there now, the lineup is going to change next Spring
