One time my mom made me scrambled eggs when I was very young. Something was a little odd tasting in texture and I pulled it out of my mouth and it was the umbilical cord, it was disqusting and turned me off eggs for years and years.

Now I remove it before cooking so i never have to experience that feeling again.
