I'm in a northern part of Melbourne in Australia.

This year I've tried mixing 2 bags of soil, 1 bag of granitic sand, 4L each of perlite, vermiculite and Dynamic Lifter (which I think is blood and bone).

Yes, I am using compost tea. Usually try and brew it for 24 hours in a 100L bucket, and I usually add unsulphered molasses and 120ml each of seaweed fertiliser and a fish emulsion feriliser. I also soil drench with a seaweed based fertiliser with added NPK.

I'm also looking into the possibility of grabbing a bag of volcanic rock dust (www.minplus.com.au) and experimenting on a few plants to see how that goes.

Also composted manure, fish meal and seaweed. They also sell one specifically for tomatoes which I tried where I put my 7Pots and they're growing quite well so I'll just use that one from now on.
