The G/f and I took our annual Fall Apple Orchard trip Monday
and besides Apples I came home with these..........
Hot Wax(Banana)Jalepenos's and some Hot Cherries!!!

I was pretty happy the Jala's are Huge!!
Also got 4 pounds green Tomatoes,and some pickling cukes!!
Here is what I did this eve (dang I am tired :lol:)
Still have the Jala's and Cukes and some more Hot Wax to do
I want to pickle some Jalapeno rings for taco's, nacho's,hot dogs
etc.heres what I got finished

thought you might come back with more than apples..Great haul my friend and nice to see all those beauty's pickled and ready for the

I knew I was coming home with more than apples Tala's :lol:
And the nice thing was... while picking...SAMPLING :)
The real bonus was the Green Tomatoes.You can buy pickled
green Tomatoes here but they are usually mushy.These are
nice and firm and crunchy!!!
 
Had to through a load of toms away this year inc Some greens as they had gone biter and it seems that its problem across the U.K Sumer just didn't get going here..Saying some are recording bumper crops of apples in the south west and lots of Damsons and Pears..Glad you sampled before you can never be sure,but the only thing is you'll want to open those pickled beauty's up a little quicker :lol:

Sorry to hear the crops over there were bad Talas!!
I can tell you though for sure I bet they wont be sealed very long :lol::lol:
Hell our trip is only 12 days away now so I am sure some stuff will be going with us :lol:have to add because of trip,we had to detour our apple orchard outing to go to
a tractor supply store (they sell pet stuff) to get a
blaze orange safety vest for Gunner lol G/F demanded it
(she loves him too much lol)
 
She sounds like a sensible lady my friend,We walk our Dogs when im home in Wales with reflective jackets because of no street/Road/Track lighting :)

Talas safety is 1 thing but she OVER babies him toys
chews treat etc etc :lol::lol:
