Mourouga? Or Moruga? whats the difference?

potato or patahto ("ah" sound)??

Potawie is correct in that it is a region, i have had two trinidadian friends bare this out now
im growing both this year, once i get my blend seeds i will borrow 2 seeds and plant them just for the sake of having both.
i have almost always seen it spelled with the "ah" at the end, i have never seen it with two U's however, anyway im not sure of the proper spelling so i digress

thanks your friend Joe

yeah i really dont see the whole point anyway??

i mean how hot could a chile possibly get??

i love hot peppers very much and make my own sauces, but when there this hot they just hurt, and there is very little enjoyment to be had, im sure they probabaly taste good but just me speaking its not worth it, im messed up for days at a time after eating bhuts let alone eat one of the butch t or morougah blend pepper, no sir not gonna do it!!

thanks your friend Joe

would that be anything like aussie thunder down under?? oh that was harsh!! im gonna catch some serious hell for that one   :P

Moruga is a region in Trinidad after which the pod was named. The original spelling I saw used around was Morouga (and also by many folks in Trinidad) but Moruga and Morouga are the two correct spellings. The rest seem to have popped up relatively recently by people misspelling the name off a press release or something...
