Mutant

My scotch bonnet plants just started poking their head through the soil the last few days. One is a mutant with three seed leaves instead of two.

Thought people might find it interesting.

nothing wrong with tricotyledons. just a funky thing that nature does. =D

I just had a Sage seedling sprout with three seed leaves. The first and second sets of true leaves were also triples.

Definately nothing wrong here. The actual term for a seedling with three cotyledon leaves is "Trifoliate"........
