Last year was my first year growing anything. And overwintering 2 plants. As far as temp light and food went.. I just had it in a window, it was at whatever temps the house was at (probably 16C to 21C). And it didn't get much water. I had a hell of a bug problem though, my procrastination led to the loss of one of the plants.
I'd say if you were planning on getting rid of them at the end of season to give the overwintering a shot.
