Indoors I could do as I have the luxury of central air / heating. What else would I need? More importantly; where could I get reliable seeds? Any pointers from you guys would be much appreciated!

Depends on how long you want to wait??

Dews...full grown in a season

Helis, difficult from seed years till mature

Nepenthes fairly easy from seed. 1-7 years till mature. Depends on species.

Ceph difficult from seed years till mature

Sarracenias moderate from seed, just step intensive couple years till mature.

I'll look into the dews and nepenthes. Less chance to screw it up ha. Those serracenias are real beauties.

Dew are VERY easy to grow and very rewarding. Can be a great plant to grow next to your pepper plants.
