My first 7 pods

I just had to share these even if they are small and few in number. Both plants are ones that where looking next to death a week ago.The first is from seeds I got from PrairieChilihead several years ago. A lovely pod !! Just what I was hoping for. Can hardly wait to test it ......

The second is from seed I got from Fatalii , the dude in Finland. Appearance wise I don't like the pods so far. I'm not trying to bust his chops , but that's one of the things that always worries me. Will the plant turn out to give you correct plants and pods. You spend months growing it and it doesn't seem spot on. I'd like some types that the place in Spain has ... but again I'm slow to want to them a try. Anyway here's my pod porn for the day ....

Peace,
P. Dreadie

Congrats P. Dreadie.

I wouldn't worry about the appearance just yet. Let them ripen first. Plus they all don't look the same. I've got several different 7's going and they range from the extremely wrinkled, gnarled looking things to something quite similar to your second pic. When it comes to peppers appearance plays a small role in flavor and heat.

I'm with P. Dreadie on this one patrick, I like my pods to look mean and pimply and w/ stinger if they are suppose to. They 7 Pod from Sheldon looks really good, and to think he found this plant at a nursery in Canada. You all say that it doesn't effect the pods the first year if they get cross pollinated but I dissagree here also. I have seen some pods on superhot plants that were different looking from the others on the same plant at the exact same time and I don't save those pods for seed. Nice picture of your baby.

The face of delicious evil. aka one of my 7 Pot Yellows. I'm with ya, P. I want my pods to look like they want to rip my soul out of my chest and then beat me with my own intestines.

Im growing some Yellow 7's as well. I cant speak for anyone other than myself, but I want MINE to look like Skydiver's!!!

My yellow 7's are from the hippy as well. They are evil looking bastards, but in a good way. :) I think I will need more than 2 plants of them next year.
