by the way, you dont have to make a new post... You can edit the original by clicking the edit button.

Just erase or modify the old message and click the save button.

If your camera has an auto focus or a flower mode, switch it to that when doing close up shots and half press the shutter button to get the camera to auto focus and when it looks sharper in the LCD press the rest of the way down to take the picture.

Nice plants btw ;)

I took those pics in the dark I'll have to re-take them during the day lol. The auto focus aparently doesn't work in the dark, lol. I'm going to have to edit this thread a bunch.

Yeah, it'll need light like mine does.

Above that is the four-way switch, used mainly for menu navigation. It also adjusts several other functions:

Up - Flash (Auto, auto w/redeye reduction, flash off, fill flash)
Left - Self-timer
Down - Macro

As said, it's the "flower" button. You may also have a "close up" mode like mine does which helps a lot.

Cheers!

Nice start to the season nebhellbillheat. Must be hard growing up north with such a short season.

Do you have drain holes in those pots? They'll get too wet if they can't drain properly.

going to try and post some new pics. Not too much growth as I believe I over fertilized them. Something I need to learn is patience. I'm sure a month from now they will look a lot better hopefully I didn't stunt their growth.
