Good start so far. I grew big jims this year for the first time and was amazed at the heat and SIZE they packed. Wasn't expecting to get peppers almost 8" long!

good luck

That bhut may be the greenest plant i have seen!

Yes I did get a little carried away with the fish emulsh. . Funny thing is I put this brothers sister in my greenhouse a week ago and it's almost double the size (did upgrade the pot/soil etc) So might throw him outdoors also.

Looking good bro. Will be tagging along. Was wondering what your light cycle is?

ahh ha.. thought no one would ask.. 18/6

When do you bring them inside? month? i was told today down the produce store it gets pretty nippy here in winter.

Mezo.

Heyo, I don't really bring them indoors for winter - it doesn't get that cold really. I havn't seen a frost at my place for 5 years.
I just use indoors to keep the conditions under control and to germinate over winter.

it doesn't get that cold really. I havn't seen a frost at my place for 5 years.

I was chatting with Kerry in the store today & telling him about my chili`s etc, im right now as i type re-potting my Bhut`s.
He said its a bit late to be doing that for starters but i thought it was OK, still stinking hot & good growing condtions.

I was asking him about the cold (being my first winter in the ranges coming up) he said we have had quite a few years of very mild winter lately, but,,,it has been know to get down to minus eleven here in the past.

Perth is lucky to get down to +1 or +2 on its coldest night & frost was never a concern in the five years i was living there.

So heres a "newbie" type question, will these plants die off this winter or keep on growing? in Perth they went right through no worries.

Mezo.

minus eleven ? hmm i doubt that very much i have lived around here for 8 years and never experienced that or anything close... could be different if you are up at tenterfield and the likes. But where you are I would doubt that.
I think 3 degrees is the lowest i've seen. BUT I have been wrong once before.
