I've been procrastinating on buying a food processor, so today I bit the bullet and got a Sunbeam LC8900.

Anyone else here have one of these?
 
That looks nice. I loved my FP until the plastic threads got stripped after a couple of years and it quit working. My son (a sun in this area!) tells me that while the cost is substantial, I am better off with a SS model, at least the gears and the axle.

Your model is not available in the US - darn the bad luck!
