my next season grow list.

so far i will be growing the following next year
Douglah
Yellow Cardi
Red Scorpions
Red Bhuts
Yellow Bhuts
Habalokia
Japones
Carribean Reds
Orange Habs.
AND THANKS TO MR AJIJOE a mystery mix of superhots.
i know its a little early to be posting this but im posting it because im taking any suggestions of any other really good varieties to grow.

Throw a couple Baccatum varieties in there. There are tons to choose from, and at all heat levels.

Here is my baccatum list for 2012:

Aji Cristal
Aji Habanero, not a habanero btw.
CAP 220
Aji Amarillo aka Aji Yellow <--- comes highly recommended. If you had to pick only one, then this might be it. Very disease resistant.
Aji Amarillo No 2
Aji Chanca
CGN 16905
CGN 16972
CGN 23566
Polumbo PI 439411

I had just purchased all of these from the.chilli.man on ebay. I have no affiliation with him but this is one of the few ebay sellers that has never let me down. Otherwise i'm sure the sellers in the sticky thread carry plenty of baccatums.

I am in the same boat as you are, already planning next season. Where are you getting the Habalokias from? Also, what about adding in a fatalii for something fun and different?

Gold i highly recommend ajijoe for habalokias.hes a great person to deal with.hmmm yes i think ill take both of you two's advice

im also thinking about planting about a half an acre of peppers next year as my parents live out in the country.they have 80 acres that i can use freely.i figure i plant all my varieties on different sides of my parents land to keep any crossing from going on.and on top of that i could take and plant the ones i do want to cross with each other.o that brings up another question what is a good distNCE APART FOR MY PLOTS TO AVOID CROSS POLLINATION?

Hi G.P.

I was always told that it is fairly common to take 100 metres between varieties and you should be rather safe.

Have 1 or 2 isolated plants of each variety off for seed collection. That is my plan, then the rest can go together with no worries since the crossing effects the seed for the next year not the current pods.
