Other than growing stuff - my passion lies in vinyl

Just been a huge collector of vinyl records. Started the passion with my old man back in the day - i am obsessed - silly i know but hey

My old record store was even called Chilli Vinyl - how you like dem apples...
 
Nice! I too have a vinyl addiction, no room to keep it going though... :( Do you also rock the cassette tapes? Good times :cool:

Yep, I'm old enough to remember vinyl. I think the last record I had on vinyl was "Pac-Man Fever". . . a real classic!!!
 
i still have a box of vinyl...think the last record i bought was either Bob Marley's Pimper's Paradise(added to my collection) or it was a new age record either Carol Pope/Monks or Vapors - hard to remember - don't think they play that kind of music on the radio anymore. can you even buy diamond needles anymore?
 
I bought my first 45 in 1969, the Beatles We Can Work It Out. Ended up liking the B side better, Day Tripper.

Man I absolutely loved buying a new album. Alas I followed technology for a while and now everything is CD. I can't stand any of the new things though--MP3's and the like. It takes the soul out of the music.
