Iron phosphate slug killer (Sluggo brand, etc) is considered acceptable in organic farming, IIRC.

Iron phosphate slug killer (Sluggo brand, etc) is considered acceptable in organic farming, IIRC.
Organic options for pest killing:
BT based sprays (bacteria lethal to a variety of pests, persists for about a week )
Pyrethrin / pyrethrum based sprays (kills on contact, breaks down in a day or two, derived from chrysanthemums)
Diatomaceous Earth (powder, kills by giving bugs thousands of tiny cuts, non-toxic)
All are allowed by OMRI for certified organic farming.
