havent tried it, i just couldnt figure ifthe pods were mature enough to pick because they wont change color.

Yea the pimenta de Neyde are difficult to tell you just have to try one that you think is fully mature to give you a heads up when they are ripe the flavor is sweet with great heat that does not overpower the flavor.
