My wittle Nagas

They are looking pretty good.
Just had a bunch of Bhut jolokia seedlings die on me.
I think i might put seed raising on hold until spring rolls around as it is early winter here.
 
I do remember reading 24/7 lighting fueled the most growth, and I think it was all the way up until plant out time with no change in cycle. A member here did some experiments, I think it was wordwiz but I can't remember. I read his experiment log on the gardenweb forum, though I can't find the link anymore.
 
Were you satisfied with 20 and 4? If so, how long there, and then what next?

pretty satisfied. gives them a nice fast growth.

but if 24/7 is the recommended til they're nice and big then that's gonna be my new lighting schedule for the next few weeks.
 
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I guess the consensus is 20 on 4 off. I'll defineltely have to get a timer..

I pulled 2 Naga Morich and a Dorset Naga from inside and started the hardening process. Figured we'll have a hot summer and thought I'd see if I can get some goodies from these before the weather gets cold... :pray: Definetely experimental...

I was really late too with Naga seedlings. Have to grow inside under lights and then maybe have some fire this winter..
My seeds germinated at 60% (pretty leggy). Then I got a light and all but 6 or 7 germinated. Short, big 1st set of leaves....Lucky I think...

On the yfrog site when you have the image displayed at the bottom right is a direct link, just enclose that link with the img tags.

Examine my example closely in the post above. :)

In the posting window there is also a button for inserting images that allows you to paste the direct link in the small popup window that will add the img tags for you.
