I have no clue what this was supposed to be, but it looks like a brown 7pot to me. heat is up in the 7pot region as well

This is a possibility, had planted some chocolate scotch bonnets but I thought all the seedlings died. Are your pods bumpy like mine? I've never seen bumpiness like this on anything but 7pots.

I've got 3 types of scotch bonnets growing and they all have smooth pods

Looks like a Jamaican hot chocolate. Douglah would have a more bumpy texture.
Also the inside would look a lot more menacing
