Mystery pepper from a friend in South Africa

I've been trading with a buddy in South Africa and he gave me a bunch of seeds from this pepper. He's not sure what it is so I figured I'd ask you guys.

What did your buddy in African call them? Have you tried them? How's the flavor/heat level? There are so many different varieties that appear similar, it's difficult to tell, but they resemble a yellow bhut.

He said he didn't know what they were and just called them a mystery pepper. He said they were very hot.
