Naga question

Ok you all know I am a newbie to growing so here goes...
of all my plants the pods have a nice smooth feel to them even the ones with wrinkles. My Nagas feel kinda rubbery and tacky
they are still unripe but getting bigger so is this normal??
the feel so different to all the other chile's I have touched, ate etc.
Tom

Yes, it's normal. Those are its similar counsins (Bih and Bhuts) are quite unusual. I've got some Bih Jolokia pods that are green now, but with insanely mean exteriors. They really make me question if they want to be eaten. lol. One day, it'll grow teeth and fangs!

Chris

Youll be fine H.P.F.F Buddy the bih/bhuut jolokia are all shapes and sizes..the dorset/Morich are smaller but again are just all over the place in shapes :)

My Nagas started to look different as soon as they slipped out of their diapers, so don't worry! They are supposed to be special, right!? ;)

Thanks Talas and Chiliac.Just never felt a rubbery pepper before:lol::lol:Pods are growing nicely now but I really
cant say I am looking forward to eating 1:lol: kinda scare
the hell outta me lol

My Jala's feel kinda waxy/rubbery, but they ain't fully grown yet.

Now if it was a Peter pepper, of course it'd need some rubber. ;)
