Name that Chilli

Buying seeds is like a box of chocolate. You never know what you're gonna get.

Early May I planted seeds from rareseeds.com which were labeled Caribbean Red Habanero.

Now that I have a few Pods, my first thought was, "Oh my gosh! I'm growing little green mushrooms!"

I have never grown Scotch Bonnet, and 95% of pics I see on the Web do not look like the descriptions I read. But this appears to have _some_ kind of bonnet.

I have no idea what this thing is, but all the pods look the same.

Any ideas?

doesnt look like the "classic" bonnet, but i can see it as being related. it certainly looks adorable though...in a pepper kind of way.

Looks more like a chinense which has been pinched by the flower.

Re the 'Scotch bonnet' appearance...well..no Scotch bonnet really looks like a 'Scots bunnet' lol
