Yesterday we went to our annual big event, the NC Hot Sauce Festival in Oxford NC. It was a great day, as usual. Good sauces (picked up a few), good people, good times. (meant sincerely) It's one of the biggest pepper-themed festivals in the US by my research.
This year we got a little extra fun. About an hour in, a heavy thunderstorm rolled through. It came from the south and we were on the south side of the street, so it wasn't TOO bad for us - we were protected by the buildings behind us.
BUT, we were also on the low side of the street...
