Need compost help

More like help with my job and to further my knowledge of this subject.
I have to make a presentation at work about composting. I know the general idea of composting and would like to get your guys input on what to highlight. the presentation is only 5 minutes long and I have to allow them the sense(look, feel) what I am showing them. Any help would be awesome! and I hope I posted into the right section
 
I would start to explain the component needed :
  • carbon-rich material (dead leaves, paper, wood hashes, etc) & nitrogen-rich material (grass, fruits, green leaves, etc)
  • humidity
  • Air
Then I would explain the process with the different stage and how to manage humidity rate and O².

Finally I would explain the use of compost, the advantages & disadvantages.

But 5 minutes is very short. You can talk for ages about compost.

Do you need to know more about a) backyard composting b) medium scale commercial composting c) industrial scale composting. Is the primary material source a) lawn waste and/or kitchen scraps b) trees c) office / cafeteria waste. Is the goal to a) raise awareness of composting benefits, inputs, outputs, and costs / savings b) teach people how to actually implement composting.

Composting is actually a pretty wide topic area. If we knew what the goal of the presentation was you might get better advice.
 
im actually gonna do it on backyard composting. even though my job does commercial composting using all kitchen scraps. thank you for the help
