plant Need help with plant ID

My wife got me this yesterday for my birthday. The nursery owner said it was supposed to be a sweet pepper, and her customers kept returning them because they're "super hot". So she had no idea what they are.

They're an annum for sure, other than that, I cant tell.

What are your thoughts?

at first i was think poblano, but they turn yelllow when ripe. Could be a antohi sweet pepper. Do they have any heat to them?

I haventtried any yet, but the owner of the nursery says theyre very hot.

might be a cross of some short. not sure though. Someone with a little more knowledge on these types of peppers might be able to give you a more clear answer.

Joe knows his peppers... I'd go with that name, or else Pepperlovers she knows her stuff too...

There are so many similar varieties out there simply renamed by profit hungry folks.... Who knows what it really is =(.
