Need ID on new planet I recived

recived a new plant from family friend. I'm not strong on pepper id's :-).

The person who gave to me the planet just bought him on store on the way. he didn't ask for kind.

I agree it looks like a medusa. The pods can be eaten now or later they can get to a red color, the peppers are fruity with no heat.

You never answered my questions so how can I give you an answer without the pertinent data to make an informed guess as to what planet you have in the picture.
