food Need ideas for using frozen chiles

My experience with freezing pods:
- Less fleshy pods seem to do better. Goats Weed, Thai, Cayenne, Tabasco all seem to be OK.
- Green pods maintain a better texture than ripe pods.
- If you are going to freeze pods, do it immediately after you pick them.
- May be my imagination, but running the frozen pods under warm water to do a quick defrost seems to give better results than letting them slowly warm up.
 
Nothing beats fresh, and I also like dried peppers, but frozen peppers have earned a place in my wintertime routine.
