Need some I.D. help

Anyone have a clue what these might be? My brother picked up some of these peppers at a market in Malta, a few years ago, and saved some seeds. They have heat similar to a Tabasco, maybe a tad hotter.

This is my that pepper plant. About one to two inches long and pretty skinny

I've found that tabasco peppers can easily fall off the stem or if picked the cap will fall off with almost no effort.
