Neem Oil Resistance?

Is that even possible? It just seems to be an issue on this one particular plant (Fresno Chile) I have been religious about spraying with Neem oil (every 14 days) and checking all my plants for critters after a spider mite infestation that nearly wiped out all my plants. This is what I found today and yes they are aphids.

I just sprayed the neem oil 2 days ago
Should I try some other type of control? Burn the plant? Give up growing... half joking there! Any suggestions are welcome.

Remember aphids are born pregnant and can produce their own offspring 5 days after and can produce 5 offspring a day for a month! Maybe adjust your schedule or introduce ladybugs and lacewings to help out!
Sadly our lizard population has a fondness for Lacewings, I usually only see ladybugs it our cooler months October - April down in this area. But I will up the spray regimen see it it helps. Thanks

Try spraying coffee sun tea, It. Has worked wonders for me with aphids and whiteflies. Spray every 2-3 days at first then you can cut back to once per week. I still have the occasional outbreak, but they are much less frequent and not nearly as severe. For recipe search for the member Cycadjungle.

Do you have ants as well as aphids? When I dispatched some ant beds near my garden it also eliminated my aphid issue.

yes I will try that thank you

Good point ants are def farming the aphids. Clean with vinegar spray and and cinnamon powder or just cinamon powder if in soil area..ants try to avoid it. One plant I literally ate all the aphids off by licking my finger and rubbing off each one of the leaves 3 healthy leaves left from a thoughough stripping eating the aphids like an ultimate preditor. They never came back. Prob solved. Plant bounced back.

That´s the most gangsta shit I´ve ever read on this forum, no question.  If you got aphids, and lizards that eat lacewings, just get yourself a MulchyDreams to come over and eat all them aphids....

Fresh aphids with a cinnamon and vinegar sauce.  I could see that not being too bad.  ;)

Did the aphids have any heat kick to them from eating the pepper plant?
