New Grower Here Carolina Reaper Peppers!

The one big downside I have with led lights is there is little to no heat! This means the soils will stay moist longer and if your not bottom feeding this can really actract fungus gnats! I had to add four 23watt cfl's and it helped out a lot...plus use a fan to help with air circulation

But speaking about luminosity and sufficient lightning, do you think that 5W LED would be enough? I have to get me one of those

Also as of right now there are 2 cups for each plant and one cup I put water in and set the other cup in it. When I move to 8 inch pots I plan on getting Aqua Globe Mini to be able to get the water bellow the 2 inch's of soil. I also Mist the peppers every day around 10 am ish. I only use bottle water to water the plants.

What do you think about this light?

Mudder 45W 225-LED

It is the 45 watt version for 87 dollars

What I found that works wonders is to get a package of mosquito dunks.  The little doughnut shaped disks.  Crush one and add it to a gallon of water and let it sit overnight.  I read that using dechlorinated water works the best.  Water the plants with that.  Also use some of the crushed pellets and place them on top of the soil.

Also add a drop of dish soap to your vinegar water in your trap.  It prevents them from escaping even better.
I second that!
I fill a 50 gallon plastic drum with tap water, let it sit out for a day or two, then add a mosquito dunk. When I need to water I use this then add nutes or PH IT TO 6.5

They take forever to bear fruit and ripen.Last years were so far behind everything else I had going. Its nice when you have a nice large bush of red Reaper but dang do they take their sweet time

Nice looking plant's. I have two reaper's growing outdoor's. Thet are slow grower's for sure. Also i'm about an hour and a half west of you on I-68. I like going to gibby's in morgantown, really good burger's there.

never heard of gibbys but if you are ever in fairmont Tue-Fri before 1pm or earlier got to go try some Yahn Dogs. You cant add anything to them or he will throw you out. But he closes his doors at 1 or when he sells 2000 hotdogs and some days he is closed at 10 there amazing.

People don't believe me when I tell them I grew six healthy hab plants under only a cfl bulb in a desklamp. Anything is possible
