Yep, new guy and I live about 3 miles from Avery Island,LA (home of Tabsco hot sauce).
I've played around with peppers I could find at Lowes and kinda got the itching for more,mostly Habanero and Jalapenos. Last year I found a couple Ghost peppers and tried to give them a shot. No luck and pretty much thought they had died over the winter.
Being a kayak fishing fool I wanted to figure out what to do with leftover fish remains so I tried my own little compost. Figured why not stick those two dead Ghost Peppers in there and see. Well, one has taken off with new life (the other not so good) but want produce peppers, So I started looking for answers and this forum popped up in my search.
