Hey so I bought seeds for Carolina Reapers off Amazon and they started iff great but now mid season they have changed their growth rate and they are sprouting up in clumps like bananas. Some of them have turned red, but they still are just pointing up at the sky. I'm also growing Ghost Peppers, and they're doing great so I donmt know why these are bad. (These are being grown outside in Tennessee)

If you want to try and ID what you have, I recommend posting up a photo of the plant and pods (and flowers, if possible) in the Pepper ID section.
Just based on the description of red pods growing upright in clumps, it sounds like it might be a Thai pepper or other annuum variety. And Thai peppers do seem to be popular among the fake seed vendors. But pics would help a lot with a positive ID.

Doubt you'll get one -- The reason they sell them is because by the time you grow them out enough to find out they are not the real thing it's too late to get a refund since too many days have passed - and usually it is too late to leave feedback to let others know even so they get good reviews from people that receive the seeds quickly and no bad feedback once they grow them and they are not what they were supposed to be - so others order from them thinking they are good vendors based on the feedback !
IF anything they'll offer to send replacements but then next year you'll be in the same position !
