Hello everyone and thank you for accepting me. Im new to this forum and new to growing peppers but loves peppers for a long time now. I recently bought a grown pepper yesterday but I cannot seem to identify this one from google. I asked the lady who grows and sold it but she just calls it demon pepper.

No idea what pepper it is. Keeping it alive should not be tough. Check real close for bugs, if it needs water give it some just not too much. What's the weather difference from where the plant came from? If it's too cold the plant may become suicidal.

Multiple fruit per node + constricted calyx = C. chinense as far as genus goes. Other than smooth skin I have nothing else to offer help ID. Sorry!

Never heard of "Demon" pepper and as you found, no google hits for this supposed name. At this time I'd just call it "Unknown".
