Lots of good advice for dealing with them here! 
I have been reading and I saw that for the aphids, someone recommended a tablespoon of dawn dish soap mixed with water and sprayed on the plant. How often is this safe to use, Is it a daily spray until controlled? Would it be best to water it after it has been sprayed with the soap water to rinse it off?
I did go to the pest page and the new bug doesn't look like the aphids and the spider mite link didn't work. However google images showed that, spider mites are the evil that has plagued a few plants. Now to take the war to them!

Ok so the spider-mites returned to one plant but I will make a pepper/dawn spray to hit them with tomorrow.
