That is a very, very cute puppy. You are going to have a wonderful time. Seeing those pictures really makes me want another puppy myself. BTW, my old dog ate our remote...So be careful;)

great looking pup and great markings...i bet you are grinnin' ear to ear....can you describe the parents?

Thanks everyone
Yep I am a loving it :) I only saw the mom and a 10 month
old offspring they were mostly liver ticked but didnt have as heavy of liver as this pup does and the pedigree well
wow full of champions and 1 nationally recognized dog
so yep im happy and grinnin :)

what will his hunting weight be?

so about the size of a Vizsla...ok, neighbors had a bunch of pointers, i think lemon back in the 60's and they were about 80 or so...pretty fat..

a Vizsla is my next puppy if I outlive Roscoe (Small male Weimaraner)...

no hijack meant, I love your pup....maybe all our pups can meet one day...have a THP puppy in....

yep about the same size as a visla but gsp's are just a lil more stockier dont worry about hijacking I love talking about my new pup:lol: cool thing is in my pups pedigree there are two dogs with pepper in their names so it was meant to be:lol:now for a much needed nap (me not the pup) lol

Tail has been docked. They leave 40% of the tail. They dock them
because of the thick cover they hunt in they are prone to injury
and infection to the tail so they dock(also called cropped) so they dont bang it up in the field.

I want a cuddle!

He's a handsome guy, I love those long soft ears.

Ring Sting, a lot of dogs are still docked in the US.

Awwwww, I love dogs and that one is adorable. Plus he looks smart, there's stuff going on behind the eyes. Looks like he could use a nail trim though.

here is 1 more I snapped today. Had a great day no accidents
did all his business outside. He is a lil whiny tonight
but that is to be expected everyone has taken a shine to him
and the chile plants survived day 1:)

That is a gorgeous picture, what a lovely dog. His nails do look razor sharp, watch the furniture. After they've been cut walking a lot on concrete helps them stay blunt. I don't think Murphy's ever needed his done, he's got stumpy little claws.

here is 1 more I snapped today.....

Goodbye beautiful polished floors! Claws like that, wow!, Gunner's gunna corner like he's on rails!

Tail docking here is pretty much a thing of the past. I can certainly understand the practice if you really are going to run Gunner through forest etc.

Feet are smaller than I expected.

So jealous (sort of, but not really).
