New sauce batch ...

This turned out really, really good. I got the recipe off this site a page or two back and changed it a bit but Im not sure who's recipe it is.

Turned out great!

1 can pineapple
1 can pears
1 can peaches
1 cup tequilla
1 cup vinegar
2 bottles lime juice
1 red pepper grilled and charred
2 whole tomato
2 carrot
1 yellow onion
1/2 cup cilantro
8 garlic cloves -toasted
2 tbs cracked pepper
2 tbs sea salt
2 tbs olive oil

To that I added 3 yellow bhuts, 3 chocolate bhuts, 5 carribean reds, 8 chocolate habs and a single, small butch T.

Blended, then pressure cooked, then bottled. Yum!

Its a fantastic tasting sauce. I wasn't sure how much I was gonna like it but its really good. Very fruity taste starts off very bold like... then the fresh cilantro taste comes in strong before the heat comes in and nails ya.

I made another with worchestershire sauce, vinegar, onion, garlic and chocolate habs and its good..kind of like a steak sauce ... but no where near as good as this.

It sounds like it has a really nice blend of sweet, sour and heat. I think I'll give this a whirl when I have some time, but with some changes like subbing lemon juice for lime juice (I don't like lime much).
