I have posted a few posts already and just realized that I have not yet introduced myself.
I live in So. CA, Orange County and have just started getting interested in the ultra hots. I have grown many things and my "other" garden is a completely customized DWC system. My expertise with "that" type of growing is pretty high.
So I decided to try my hand in using my knowledge in the hot pepper field.
So far I have 3 DWC pepper plants, Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, and a Jalapeno. The jalapeno is just because my wife and I use those in almost everything we cook, so having the extra productivity of hydroponics was the main reason.
I also have 3 choice plants, Butch "T", and other Carolina Reapers and TM Scorpions in pots. I am going to give a lot of them out to my friends and family, I germinated so many.
So far I have had GREAT success. germination within 4-7 days with almost 80% pop rate. I did kill off a bunch of the late bloomers due to cost and size constraints.
Here is a link that I don't mean to spam since I posted it in a few other posts, but it is relevant to my new membership and advantures with hot peppers.

The photobucket gets updated here and there and has my daisy clone log also for side entertainment I guess.
Well, back to work, good growing to all!
