Very fond memories of catching the ferry over to the Arran Isles (spelling?), and having a pint outside a pub down by the sea. Lovely.

Nothing more than an affectation, I'm afraid. You could see it as "shooty Star", perhaps.

I post on www.rollonfriday.com a lot, and there was a phase there where regular posters put *s on the end of their names. I copied them to take the p*ss, and it just kind of stuck
