Newbie to hydro

So my buddy and I are setting up a indoor hydro system, 10-12 plant system growing superhots. I totally would appreciate some great suggestions and guidence with this, the in's and outs. what to do and what not to do?

Planning on using 1-2 400watt HPS lights. We are still in the beginning stage of the process and getting ready to start buying all the supplies nessacery.

they spread out more light without the hoods. But it will increase the heat in your grow room. The hoods are so you can hook a fan up to them and pull the heat off. I'm doing this with my two 400 watt hps.
 
You are going to get a whole bunch of conflicting information if you aren't more detailed about exactly what you are trying to do. What kind of hydro system,size of room,variety of plant,etc.... The more info you give,the better info you will get.
 
Heat in the grow room will be the same, reflector or no reflector. Reflectors aim the light to the plants and, unless you are growing chiles on the ceiling, you want them.

Get your plan more organized, your questions need to be much more specific.
 
Bucket system and aeroponic, 8ft X 8ft room, growing moruga satan, moruga, butch, bhuts, infinity, naga viper.
