On my way home from a client, I stopped by the local Games Workshop. For those that may not be familiar with it. It's a store where people can buy, assemble, paint & play with miniatures on small-scale battlefields. One of the most popular games is called Warhammer 40k. Each person can field their own army, using rules from a core rulebook as well as a supplemental for their army, each of which has certain specialties, etc. It's got a huge worldwide fanbase, and quite a few celebrities, including Henry Cavill, Robin Williams, Vin Diesel, Trey Parker (co-creator of South Park), Brian May (lead guitarist for Queen), the list goes on. In fact, Cavill frequently posts videos of himself assembling & painting his minis, and professional wrestler Shayna Baszler incorporates the color scheme of the Dark Angels army into her ring gear. In addition ~40% of the overall fanbase consists of US military vets & active duty soldiers.

I mentioned to the manager that I played the Sisters of Battle and the Grey Knights. He gave me his last limited edition print of a kneeling Sister of Battle so I could have it framed and put up in my house.

Here's the picture of it:
