Sorry i know there is like a 100 topics on which blender to get, and there is lots of discussion about the top end ones like vitamix, blendtec, and the ninja. I am thinking about getting a ninja since they are a little more affordable. There are several right now on amazon for under $100 that are still 1000 and 1100 watts and i know that wattage is not the only thing to consider.
There are so many ninja blenders i just wanted to see if anyone could recommend specific ninja blenders that they have (or have used) and like. The two that i am considering the most are https://www.amazon.com/SharkNinja-BL660-Shark-Professional-Blender/dp/B003VWXXXK/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1480613848&sr=1-2&keywords=ninja%2Bblenders&th=1 which in the description says bl660 but then when you get into it there is the NJ600 which is 1000 watts and the bl660 which is the 1100 watts. Then there is also a wide base which i don't know why that matters. In theory i know the 1100 watts should be more powerful, but i have done some research that has suggested that the 1000 watt breaks up veggies better. My main goal is for hot sauces and i would prefer it to break it up as much as possible, hopefully to the extent that i won't have to use a food mill prior to bottling. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
