Noob Naga Morich grower (needs guidence)

Hello,

Im new to the chilli growing scene, and new to growing things in general...

and this weekend coming im going to germinate my naga seeds...
I live in a hot climate, but am worried because my apartment doesnt get direct sunlight during the day, the sun rises in the morning on my balcony but by about 9:00 the sun has risen over my side of the building. though the light is fairly bright, reflecting off other buildings and so forth...

i was wanting to know what sort of growing equipment i will need i.e fertilizer, pot size and general plant care.

If anyone can help me with my naga growing experience, i would be graetful.

Chilli:hell:

I dont think you are going to get enough direct sunlight.
You might want to hook up some artificial lighting.

thanks Skyjerk,

after the seedlings are ready for a pot, ill consider growing(depending on ammount of seeds that take) in different conditions, i take some to my parents house, where the lighting is adequet, and try some in low light conditions.

thx

5 of my nagas get morning light, 10 get all day light. The ones that get less light are taller with smaller leaves and half the pods. The ones with more light are short, bushy large leaves and loaded with pods. No difference in heat of the peppers, but the low light ones take up more room. They will grow, just less pods.

Maybe you could back up a little bit and tell us what you already have or are doing, then we can help you refine your technique. There are so many ways to start and grow peppers that work well, and everybody has their favorite. With this crowd, we can probably help you figure out what way will work best for you.

So, how did you plan to start your seeds? What kind of lighting do you have? How about a heat source? What kind of potting soil and seed cup were you going to use?
