noob, pepper not looking so great

Hi guys, I'm having problems with my plants, particularly with the criolla sella. It seems alittle wilted and has very week stems and branches, almost vinelike. A branch or two have even snap. I'm not sure if/how i should be topping or training them. I currently have them against the side of the house, somewhat covered as it is the wet season far north queensland.  any suggestions would be appreciated.

As you may or may not know, pepper plants don't like a lot of water at all. Over watering can be a contributing factor to weak stems and branches. over watering may also stunt growth and invite pests. You should make sure your pots go dry before watering again.

You can probably do some leaf triming as well, so the plant can focus its energy elsewhere. I have never seen a plant quite like that (so viny) however. I am not quite sure if that plant can recover. A seasoned grower can probably advise you better.

Overwatering is definitely a possibility. Take a look at some of those lower leaves though; they seem to be yellowing a little. If you can, post water and fertilizing schedule/information.

Well, i dont water them during the wet season but they have gotten quite abit over the last week despite being put under the roof ledge. i used potting soil and slow release nutrient pellets when transplanting them. I am thinking it might be abit of a nutrient deficiency along with too much rain. My main concern though is how viney and lanky the stems are. i have no idea how they are going to be able to hold peppers. :(

You may need to stake it like a tomato plant. Use some elastic fabric to attach the vines to the steak.

After a day in the sun they are quite wilted. Leaves are yellowing and falling off. added some nuts today not sure if it was a good or bad idea.

What is your autumn like there?  Is your climate good enough during winter to leave it outside without it freezing?  (is that even a thing in Oz?)  Overwatering is a very big possibility, I would personally prune most of those damaged leaves.  Let the soil dry out or perhaps replace it like Spicy Mushroom said.  Getting too much moisture will definitely do it.  It might not be very windy in your location too...that's also something to consider about the drooping, idk

Adding nutes may not have been a bad idea actually, if it's been getting flooded by so much rain then it's trying to run on straight water because your nutes got flushed out.  I think a general consensus around here is that capsicums take about half the recommended ferts of tomatoes.  Prune the damaged leaves definitely, the plant is just going to waste its energy trying to repair them.  Is that thing an annuum?

For keeping up branches you can use 3-4 stakes around the inside rim of your pot and use twine to make a couple of layers of trellis
