Not a datil

So I got these off a plant I thought was a datil.  Forgot about it off in a flower bed.  Any ideas?
 

 
 
They are hot, too hot to be datil.  Very sweet and fruity but not citrus like datil.  Very pleasant tasting.

Yoy should save those seeds. Those pods look awesome. Would be happy to find those growing instead of regular datil.

Those could very well be datils. I just got a couple red sweet datils recently and they looked just like little morugas. Identical to the yellow ones except not hot.

They do bear resemblance to a sweet datil, but these are hot.  Definitely hotter than the datils I grew last year.  Could be some kind of throw back I guess.  I'll grow out the seeds and see what comes out of it.

Some of those peppers have shape reminiscent of the Gorongnon pepper.  Forgive my spelling, lol.
