Not-so Hot talk

My moms familly was originally from spain... There is some good cooking that has been passed down on that side.

We make a relleno type dish using pablanos (though I'm pushing for the use of warmer peppers)...

We take pablanos, halve and seed them. Then cook some rice, and put a bed of rice down in a pan, put beans on the rice, and then the pablanos on the mixture, and stuff them with browned down meat (we've used burger of various types, elk, venison, beef, lamb, sausages, etc), Then cover with cheese, cook, and serve.
 
JssChrstRcks that sounds really good! I was going to try stuffed bell peppers with a lot of the same things today, for the first time. Didn't happen though. Thanks for the tip.
