Not sure if there's something wrong here.....

I apologise in advance if this is in the wrong area but this is just so weird! This is a Santa-Fe / Fresno plant from last season, that I Wintered in my kitchen, so I could get a jump start for this season. I just went to water it and saw this pepper.
I know for a fact this is a "Santa-Fe / Fresno Cross" plant, I harvested from this plant last year. So what's going on with that pepper? Is there maybe something else in there that is just now showing itself that I didn't know about?

Because "That which is different must be destroyed!"  ?  :(

Heck, no!  Let it grow and see what it develops into!  Be sure to save the seeds, you might be onto something.

There is a section for Pepper ID named identically.
Not trying to ID it, I know what it is. It's a Santa-Fe/Fresno cross, was just curious what was happening to it.

And yes, I'm going to let it grow and harvest the seeds for next year. We'll see what I get, hope it's something weird.

I found something like that inside a store bought orange bell once!

Great post!

Yes ive seen this inside orange/yellow/red bell peppers too. Always wondered what the deal was.....

I always assume as a rule of thumb that it's from genetic modification and destroy the seeds from them instead of trying to compost the guts...(they go in the burn pile)
