I do not do hydroponic, so I cannot speak to that.

For my in-ground and growbags, i only do OMRI-certified organic.

I have used Neptue's Harvest (a bit pricey), GS Plant foods, Alaska, Down to Earth All Natural, Scott's Natures Care, maybe a few others I cannot recall at this time.

I have not tried my hand at hydro, but in soil I am having good results with DynaGro Foliage Pro and TPS CalMag. Really like the folks at TPS. Great service.

I started with General Hydroponics but I'm now more to organic stuff. Berry fertilizer from Neudorff and worm castings from Neko. I would also use seaweed extract but its too weak and expensive so I make it myself. Fertlizer NPK balance is 7-1-8 and worm casting 1,7-0,6-2,6. Root grow is impressive because of the natural microbes and mycorrhiza.

This is what I was going to say too. I have been experimenting with MegaCrop, by Greenleaf nutrients, for some of my peppers this year. It's an all in one dry mix, so far so good. I've had great, maybe even the best results with Masterblend, but it does take a lot more time to mix. Is cheap though.
