Onions transplanted....

I was over my dad's house and he dug up some onions for me to plant.

He insisted I take some home. I just finished planting them.

These are in a 25 gallon bucket.

i have some egyptian walking onions that i am pretty excited about, not sure exactly how to plant them for best results..... a bit more studying on my part.

This 25 gallon barrel of dirt I mixed up last night.

I put in 5 gallons of Sunshine #4 potting soil, 5 gallons of hydroton clay pebbles, and 15 gallons of yard dirt.

Mixed it all together. It drains very well. I have used this before in the 25 gal pots. To heavy for the average person to just pickup and steal it.
